I'll miss not having Weirsy in the team this time round but there were no surprises for me in the captain's picks yesterday, Couples had to take Haas and Woods but for differing reasons. Haas was told he had to win the Tour Championship to get in and he did, and of course TV would not allow Freddie not to pick Tiger, especially when he would already be down there the week before playing in the Aussie Open.
Norman left out Oosthuizen who is #11 in favour of Allenby (13) who lives on the Royal Melbourne course and is a member, and Baddeley (14) who T3 at the Tour Championship. John Senden was his next choice.
