Playing some of the best golf of his year, Aaron Cockerill will enter his final round after 90 holes T8 69 66 70 67 67 -18.
Today was another very clean card with 5 birdies, just the one bogey 5 at the par 4 15th. So far in 90 holes he has 24 birdies and just 4 bogeys, with 1 double. With 61 pars his steady play is something that was missing during the regular season.
The runaway leader South African veteran coming off of knee surgery Zander Lombard who just made an eagle at the 90th for 64 -29
However a look at the rest, Aussie Conor McKinney -22 is alone 2nd.
Two players are -21, three at -19, then Aaron in at -18 in a group of 4.
So apart from Lombard, there are only 6 players ahead of Aaron Cockerill for 2nd place.
It looks like the top 21 players would fall at -15.
