Rory the man to beat, DP World Tour Championship....TEE TIMES

DP World Tour Championship..Tee Times Weather

Once again, this time in November 2025, another year on this DP World Tour, which started before Christmas 2024 in South Africa, wound its way from Australia, Mauritius, Middle East, China, Africa, India, mainland Europe, the UK, Korea just to name a few, 27 countries, 5 continents, 42 events, has come to rest in the UAE, Dubai, the Middle East HQ for the Tour.

The top 50, through all of that are comfortably housed with their families, caddies, team personnel, DP World Tour officials and the media in one of this planets fastest growing cities with an ever changing skyscraper vista that bears witnessing, in a desert climate where the sun seems to never stop shining, where somehow west has been allowed, welcomed to co-exist with the Muslim world in harmony.

A truly international Tour that despite all the wealth of the present day PGA Tour, continues to survive and play a vital role in the world of men's professional golf.

(****LIV is not part of this equation until it settles one way or another with the mainstream )

Just ask the 156 players who began Q School 7100 kilometers northwest in Tarragon Spain last Friday, who this week are down to their last 60, grinding it out for the 20 cards on offer, desperate to have a home to play in 2026, to make their living and feed their families.

Rory McIlroy-2185241797

Click on my links above for all the TEE Times paired in reverse order on the Earth Course, culminating with Marco Penge who had a career year with 3 wins, and Rory McIlroy.

Rory has a 767 points lead over Penge with 2000 points on offer to this week's winner so he is in position to win for the 4th straight time.

The top10 players not already qualified will win co-membership with full playing rights on the PGA Tour for 2026

Someone will win this event, in all likelihood Rory will win his 7th Race to Dubai Championship based on all the points accrued throughout the year to pass Seve, and land just one shy of Colin Montgomerie's 8.
