British (ISPS Handa) Senior Open, Thursday TEE TIMES

R&A : British Senior Open Tee Times

It's not the Open, now in the books after a remarkable week in N.I at Royal Portrush, but all the guys in this week's British Senior Open had their days on the big tour, and are now gathered at another of Britain's iconic courses, Sunningdale GC, a parkland gem just 30 miles SW of London founded in 1900.

This year one of the DP World Tour's strongest partners, ISPS HANDA has become the main sponsor. International Sports Promotion Society was founded by Japanese philanthropist Haruhisa Handa 30 years ago. His belief is that sport has the power to inspire, transform and unite people and communities across social, racial and socio-economic barriers.

You will know most of the 148 players, who include the leading players this year from the senior circuit, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Paddy Harrington, Steve Alker, Ernie Els, Bernhard Langer to name a few.

Two Canadians, Stephen Ames, and Gordon Burns who T1 68 68, in the Monday qualifier are in the field.

He was awarded the George Knudson's PGA of Canada teacher of the year award in 2024 and also won Player of the Year. He is from Holland Landing near Bradford in Ontario.
