After Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama played a poor opening foursome, getting thrashed 6&5 by the brilliant pairing of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele the Internationals had 4 very close matches, but came on on the wrong end of 3 of them.
So it goes without saying today's 5 fourball matches will need to go their way.
Corey Connors said, "I think we'll learn a lot from today, we're going to be just as hungry to get out there on Friday. It's a pretty sweet feeling playing for the International squad"
