NHL lockout be damned, the Ottawa Senators have gone ahead and signed a elite player...
Brad Fritsch who grew up in Manotick, just outside Ottawa who has just won his PGA Tour card for 2013 is now sponsored by the team !
"We want to congratulate Brad on achieving his goal and earning his PGA Tour card," Senators vice-president of marketing Jeff Kyle said in a statement. "We entered into this partnership with Brad because we believe that many of his best qualities, including his dedication and perseverance, reflect much of what the Ottawa Senators organization is all about."
Brad will wear the Ottawa Senators logo on his shirts and bag, and in return he will be financially supported by the team and will attend functions on their behalf.
Brad will start his first year on the big tour in Hawaii in January.
