DP World Tour: Danish Golf Championship : Entry List Tee Times
The DP World Tour returns to action after a three-week break with the penultimate event of the Closing Swing at the Danish Golf Championship.
Major champions Henrik Stenson and Bubba Watson will be making a return to action to the delight of the large Danish crowds attending the Great Northern GC which will host its first DP World Tour event this week, following in the footsteps of Himmerland, Silkeborg Ry Golf Club, Lübker Golf Resort and Furesø Golf Klub in staging this event.
Watson of course won the Masters in spectacular style on the second sudden death playoff hole in 2012, with that big hooked recovery shot from the pine straw on the 10th hole to beat former DP World Tour member Louis Oosthuizen.
In 2022 he tore the meniscus in his knee, and while sidelined joined the upstart LIV as a non playing captain, where he is now GM and captain of the Range Goats GC where he competes and manages his teams roster, while preparing for upcoming starts on the DP World Tour as the future of LIV is uncertain.
