Canadians back in action around the world this week.... TEE TIMES *updated

PGA Tour : Fortinet Championship...TEE TIMES here

With the golfing world waiting with bated breath for the Ryder Cup, September 24-26 at Whistling Straits, the rest of the mortals get back to action this week.

The 2021-22 PGA season gets under way out in Napa, California at the Fortinet Championship and there are 7 Canadians in this weeks field..

Adam Hadwin, Roger Sloan, Michael Gligic, Nick Taylor, David Hearn are joined by Taylor Pendrith and Adam Svensson up from the Korn Ferry Tour, all looking for a good early start on this wrap around season, where all the big boys are either chasing the Race to Dubai, or playing the Ryder Cup.

Mac Hughes and Corey Connors are on holiday..

LPGA : Cambia Portland Classic TEE TIMES here

With the Curtis Cup safely in the hands of the European Team after their stellar 15 1/2 -13 1/2 win at Inverness in Toledo, the women are back, this week also out on the west coast at the Cambia Portland Classic.

Brooke Henderson who has won it twice has flown out from her home in Florida as has her Olympic partner Alena Sharp..

Symetra Tour : Guardian Championship, Alabama

TEE TIMES

I mention this one this week because the Symetra Tour has 4 events left, and the top 5 get their LPGA cards.

Maude Aimee LeBlanc is 5th as play begins at the Guardian Championship down in Alabama,, and she is joined by Jaclyn Lee, Maddie Szeryk, Brittany Marchand, Valerie Tanguay and Rebecca Lee Bentham..

Champions Tour: Sanford International, Sioux Falls SD. Meet the Players

Stephen Ames is the lone Canadian, this week. Mike Weir was home in Sarnia last week and David Morland T7 at the Scottish Senior Championship..

European Tour: Dutch Open Leaderboard.

Aaron Cockerill continues to try and keep his card on the European Tour after missing last week's Rolex Event, the BMW PGA Championship won by Billy Horschel at Wentworth. He is ranked 151 in the Race to Dubai, 527th OWGR, so he really needs to string together some top 10's or better.

Aaron Cockerill

He is off the first tee at 9.02am in the Dutch Open, Bernardus GC, Cromvoirt, Holland.
