Timber Tech Championship with final scoreboard here
With rounds of 69 72 68 Mike Weir finished well down the field T37 -7 at Boca Raton in the Timber Tech Championship.
Returning to the winners circle for the first time since his win 9 years ago at the Open in 2011was Darren Clarke. He shot 69 62 68 -17 to hold off evergreen Bernhard Langer and Jim Furyk both at -16. Langer who has won this title twice and lives in Boca Raton has been runner up on this Champions Tour 37 times.
Clarke now 52 has struggled with is form and his weight for much of his career. As happens to us all as we get older, and indeed to many guys who join the Senior circuit Darren is a lot heavier than he was at Royal St Georges, but his game was spot on this week in Florida.
Stephen Ames 79 69 72 +4 was 77th.
