Brooke Henderson still in contention despite triple bogey at ANA Inspiration... live scoring

LPGA Tour ANA Inspiration leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/ana-inspiration/leaderboard

When I left you yesterday Brooke Henderson was sailing along beautifully, having just stiffed a nine iron for birdie at the 13th, she was at -4 T2 at the time.

She stepped up to the tee at the par 3 14th, and as soon as she swung, she turned her head away in disgust, as her ball missed the green into the water. Her chip from the drop area came up well short, and 3 putts later all her hard work was gone with a triple bogey 6.

However she re-grouped and parred her way in for a E 72 -1 total, currently T12, 7 shots off the lead when play begins today. She will tee off at 1.01 PST with South Korean Jenny Shin, and the late wave this week has had the worst of the wind.

Alena Sharp rebounded nicely from an opening 76 with 70 +2 T41.

Seven-time LPGA Tour winner In Kyung Kim leads the field at -8. Kim carded a 7-under 65 on Friday. You'll remember in 2012 with a one-stroke lead, she missed a 1-foot putt on the 72nd hole to make bogey and fall into a playoff with Sun Young Yoo. Yoo eventually took the title with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Kim didn't win for 4 1/2 years after that.

She leads Aussie veteran Katherine Kirk -5 by 3 shots.
