Round 4
pgatour.com  Tiger has just wrapped up his final round on a breezy sunny Monday at Arnie's Bay Hill club with a bogey 5 on 18, to shoot 70 for a -13 total and a 2 shot win over Justin Rose who also shot 70.

The win in Rory's absence puts Tiger back at #1 in the world for the 11th time, the first since October 2010.

It was his 8th win on this course, tying Sam Snead who won the Greenbrier 8 times, albeit on different courses in North Carolina.

He is now the odds on favourite going into Augusta for the first major of 2013.

Round 4
lpga.com
Beatriz Recari (@BeatrizRecari) has been known as the “Iron Woman” on the LPGA Tour of late for her consistency and on Sunday, she used a gritty performance to hold off I.K. Kim in a two-hole playoff to win her second-career LPGA victory at the Kia Classic (@LPGAKiaClassic).

Recari, who was bogey-free for the first three rounds in Carlsbad, turned in three bogeys and one birdie in regulation including a bogey on the 18th where she missed a four-foot par putt to win. After her win, Recari admitted to that her nerves were not nearly as calm as they were during her first win back in 2010.

EUROPEAN TOUR/ASIAN TOUR - MALAYSIAN OPEN
COURSE: Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (6,967 yards, par 72).
PURSE: $2.75 million. Winner’s share: $458,330.

Round 3 (tournament reduced to 54 holes)

Kiradech Aphibarnrat held off a string of star names to capture his first European Tour title at the Maybank Malaysian Open.

One ahead of former Masters Tournament winner Charl Schwartzel at the start of the day, the 23 year old Thai golfer was joined by, amongst others, three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington and Ryder cup star Edoardo Molinari on a fascinating final day.

However, Aphibarnrat held firm and even a bogey at the last could not prevent the big hitter carding a two under par 70 for a 13 under total; one ahead of Italy’s Molinari.

The tournament had already been shortened to 54 holes, and there was a further storm delay on the final day.

CHAMPIONS TOUR - MISSISSIPPI GULF RESORT CLASSIC

Round 3

pgatour.com    Micheal Allen started the day two shots behind the leaders, but made five birdies on the front nine to vault into the lead and held on for his first victory of the season and fourth on the Champions Tour. He navigated the windy conditions brilliantly at Fallen Oak until the final five holes, where he had three bogeys.
He finished the day with a 5-under 67 and was 11 under for the tournament, but the missed putt on 18 had put a victory in jeopardy with Bernhard Langer 3 holes behind.

Langer was on the 15th hole when Allen finished, and the door was open for him to take the lead or at least force a playoff. But he had to deal with the nasty, unpredictable wind, and his second shot on 16 found the bunker. He eventually settled for bogey to fall a stroke behind Allen.

Eaton finished her round in extraordinary fashion, sticking a 156-yard second shot to place it within a foot of the hole to finish with an eagle on the par-5 18th.

Round 2 (tournament reduced to 36 holes)

ngatour.com  Daniel McCarthy overcame firm greens and cold temperatures in the first two rounds to move atop the leaderboard at 5-under par. And when the final two rounds were canceled due to incessant rains, the former Dolphin earned his first victory on the NGA TOUR Pro Series by a single stroke over Seth Fair.

I was pleased with the way I played,” said McCarthy, who earned $28,000. “I kept the ball in front of me. I didn’t get out of position more than a couple of times, which is very important out here. That’s the reason I played as well as I did.”

Despite the field average being well over par, McCarthy was one of two golfers that posted sub-par rounds on Thursday and Friday, shooting a 2-under 70 in the first round and a 3-under 69 in the second round. Over the course of two rounds, McCarthy carded nine birdies, 23 pars and just four bogeys en route to his first victory on the top-rated developmental tour
